Kakinada, July 9 -- : Andhra Pradesh Labour Minister Vasamsetti Subhash has fulfilled his promise to reconstruct the Draksharama market here that was destroyed in a recent fire, with the inauguration of the newly built market complex comprising 48 shops, on Thursday.
The market was inaugurated by members of the Vasamsetti Foundation in the Minister's absence, as he was attending official engagements in Vijayawada.
Vasamsetti Foundation Chairman Satyam said the Minister had rushed to Draksharama on the night of the fire and announced a personal contribution of Rs 20 lakh for reconstruction and rehabilitation of the affected traders.
