Vijayawada, March 11 -- In a major outreach to the minorities, the Andhra Pradesh government will host a grand 'Iftar feast' here on March 16.

Minister for Minorities Welfare NM Farook announced here on Wednesday said that the government will also host 'Iftar feasts' across all district headquarters during the holy month of Ramzan. for which Rs. 1.50 crores has been allocated.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the state-level Iftar feast to be held at the A-Convention Centre here for which the government has allocated Rs 75 lakh, while the remaining funds will support district-level Iftars led by Collectors and Minority welfare officials.
