Mumbai, July 11 -- Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder at a Mumbai hospital today after doctors found serious injuries in his both shoulders.
Sources said he had been suffering from shoulder pain for some time. Medical tests showed a severe rotator cuff injury and muscle tears in both shoulders.
Doctors advised him to undergo surgery at the earliest to avoid further damage. However, Pawan Kalyan first completed his scheduled official work and public programmes before coming to Mumbai for the operation.
