Vijayawada, July 23 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has emphasized the need for adopting people-friendly, visible policing and use of advanced technology by the police officials to improve efficiency. The Chief Minister participated in the AP Police Retreat 2026-Future Ready AP Police Conference here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stressed that the government should examine the need to restructure the police system in line with changing times and crimes. He called for a shift from an "invisible police" approach to "visible policing," while leveraging advanced technology to improve efficiency.
