Tirumala, Sept. 16 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday inaugurated several development programmes during his second-day visit to Tirumala.
Naidu inaugurated the 'Sri Venkateswara Museum', established by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to enable devotees to learn about the significance of Tirumala and the special features associated with Lord Venkateswara.
The museum has four floors, 14 galleries, and a total area of approximately one lakh square feet, with more than 8,000 exhibits.
As part of measures to ensure the safety of devotees visiting Tirumala, the TTD introduced a group insurance scheme in collaboration with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).
