Anakapalli, April 23 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone for the establishment of two 6.5 GW solar water and ingot manufacturing facility plants at Rambilli in Anakapalli district on Thursday.
The solar water and ingot manufacturing facility is being established at a cost of Rs 5,400 crore.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Renew Energy Global would set up a 6.5 gigawatt solar ingot-wafer manufacturing unit at a cost of Rs 4,200 crore and a 125 megawatt hybrid captive renewable power project at a cost of Rs 1,200 crore. The target is to complete these two projects within two years.
