Vijayawada, June 19 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has asked the bankers to take steps to check cyber frauds and respond swiftly to protect victims.

Addressing the State-Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC) meeting in the Secretariat at Amaravati near here on Friday, the Chief Minister highlighted concerns over cyber frauds and asked the bankers to respond swiftly to protect victims from financial losses in digital fraud cases.

"Delays in identifying and apprehending criminals are resulting in substantial losses. Banks should establish Central Transaction Monitoring Cells to detect and prevent financial frauds," Naidu advised.
