Vijayawada, July 7 -- In the backdrop of the Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) Programme having emerged as a key pillar of India's energy transition and biofuel strategy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday directed the officials to promote ethanol manufacturing in the State.
Addressing the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting here, he called for leveraging the growing demand for ethanol. Increasing ethanol blending to 40 percent would provide significant additional income to maize farmers, he pointed out.
