Vijayawada, July 14 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has reaffirmed that the Polavaram Project will be completed and dedicated to the nation by March 2027.

Addressing a meeting with the officials at the Secretariat at Amaravati, near here, on Tuesday, the Chief Minister highlighted that the construction works of the Polavaram project, across the river Godavari, are progressing satisfactorily and expeditiously.

The Chief Minister announced that the Godavari waters would be released to Anakapalli through the Polavaram Left Main Canal on August 14, 2026.
