Kurnool, June 24 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu described the Jonnagiri gold mining project as the beginning of a golden era in Andhra Pradesh and announced the establishment of a 'Jewellery Park' in Swarnagiri village in Kurnool district.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the gold mining project established by Geo Mysore Services and Deccan Gold Mines at Jonnagiri village in the district on Wednesday and also laid the foundation for the project's second expansion unit and flagged off heavy vehicles transporting gold-bearing ore for processing.
