Narasaraopet, July 17 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu along with the union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman participated in the Mega Credit Outreach Programme jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance and Public Sector Banks at Narasaraopet in Palnadu district on Friday.
They distributed loans worth Rs 3,216 crore to 1,03,246 beneficiaries in the district and the beneficiaries included 15,000 DWCRA women and 13,355 entrepreneurs.
Later addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the objective is to ensure that every eligible individual, farmers, students, women from self-help groups and entrepreneurs, have access to credit.
