Rajamahendravaram, Feb. 25 -- The death toll in the adulterated milk case has risen to six with 6-year-old Manohor succumbing on Wednesday at the KG hospital in Visakhapatnam. As many as eight others are battling for life in various hospitals.
Many people fell ill with kidney related problems after consuming adulterated milk at various localities here on February 15. Officials here on Wednesday confirmed that strong epidemiological evidence indicates milk adulteration as the probable cause.
