Kurnool, Aug. 2 -- YSR Congress party Aluru Legislator B Virupakshi, his son Chandrasekhar and his 13 followers were arrested in connection with an attack on a Telugu Desam party activist and they were produced before the Junior Civil Judge.

Police said that YSRCP MLA B Virupakshi went to Sangala village of Chippagiri mandal after midnight where a clash took place between the TDP and YSRCP activists. One of the TDP activists, Sekhar, who suffered injury in the clash, lodged a complaint with the police.
