Vijayawada, Aug. 18 -- The members of YSRCP in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council on Tuesday pressed Chairman Moshen Raju to allow an adjournment motion on alleged irregularities in the sports quota in the recruitment of teachers through the District Selection Committee (DSC), but he rejected the demand.
The proceedings in the Legislative Council were disrupted for the second consecutive day as opposition YSR Congress Party members, led by floor leader Botsa Satyanarayana, raised the issue of alleged irregularities in the recruitment of teachers through the DSC.
They demanded for an Adjournment Motion on the issue but the Chairman rejected and asked to approach in another format.
