Anakapalli, July 21 -- YSRCP senior leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Botcha Satyanarayana gave the government a 24-hour ultimatum to stop all mining activity around the sacred Panchadarla hills and immediately remove every machine and piece of equipment.

He warned that YSRCP would launch a protest at the mining site itself if the government failed to act.

He demanded registration of criminal cases against those responsible, a comprehensive investigation and a government order declaring the area around the Uma Dharmalingeswara Swamy temple there a permanent No-Mining Zone.
