Vijayawada, April 20 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Water Resources Development Nimmala Ramanaidu has alleged that the recent murder of YSRCP activist Pedda Dasthagiri in Kadapa was ordered by a close aide of the party president and former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
According to the Minister, Nithyananda Reddy - former deputy mayor of Kadapa and one of Jagan Mohan Reddy's closest allies - ordered the murder because Dasthagiri had become an obstacle in his Rs 100 crore business dealings. "Those who carried out the killing met Nithyananda Reddy immediately afterwards and this itself tells us who was behind it," Ramanaidu claimed.
