Tirupati, June 22 -- Two passengers were killed and 15 others injured when the APSRTC bus in which they were travelling was rammed by a lorry at Udumuvaripalle village in Pullampet mandal of the district on Monday.
Police said that the APSRTC bus was going to Kadapa from Tirupati on the Kadapa-Chennai national highway. As many as 37 passengers were traveling in the RTC bus when the mishap took place.
The deceased were identified as Yashwitha (16) and Puneeth Sai (2). The injured were admitted to the GGHs in Rajampet, Kadapa where the condition of three of them is said to be critical.
