Paderu, April 9 -- Three girl students were drowned in a rivulet when they slipped while taking selfies at a village in Ananthagiri mandal in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday.
Police said that the deceased Trisha (17), Ratna Kumari (16) and Pavitra (16) appeared to have slipped and drowned. All of them had taken the Intermediate examinations recently. Local residents alerted the police.
The bodies were recovered and shifted to the GGH for postmortem.
