Visakhapatnam, Aug. 20 -- A six-year-old student died after being slapped by a teacher in the classroom for not doing homework in Visakhapatnam on Thursday and the incident went viral on social media.
According to the officials, the deceased Pranay Tej (six) was studying in UKG at Little Garden school.
The boy, along with his parents, had gone to Tirupati on pilgrimage for three days, and he returned to school on Thursday.
The lady teacher asked the boy to show his homework. As the boy had missed classes, he had not done the homework and was very frightened.
The teacher slapped the boy for not doing the homework.
He fell on the teacher and lost consciousness. He was taken to a private hospital and later shifted to the KG hospital where...
