Vijayawada, June 4 -- Telugu Desam Party (TDP) State President Palla Srinivasa Rao on Thursday announced that the party would launch a statewide bicycle campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day, aimed at promoting environmental awareness and encouraging responsible fuel consumption.
Addressing a media conference at the party headquarters in Mangalagiri, near here, Srinivasa Rao said the initiative was intended to convey a strong social message that environmental protection is a shared responsibility and requires active participation from every citizen.
He appealed to party leaders, cadres, supporters, and the general public to use bicycles wherever possible and contribute to the larger cause of sustainable living.
