Vijayawada, Oct. 16 -- Responding to the violent incident which took place in Rayachoti and Punganuru today during filing of nominations for the local body polls, Telugu Desam Party State President Palla Srinivasa Rao has made it clear that the alleged high-handedness of YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy and his associates would not be tolerated.
He called for firm action to curb attempts to disrupt law and order and intimidate the public and government officials, asserting that those responsible for such incidents must be dealt with in accordance with the law. He warned that no one would be allowed to indulge in lawlessness under the protection of political influence.
