Visakhapatnam, July 10 -- Calling for a decisive shift from temporary pollution-control measures to long-term environmental safeguards, TDP State President and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao on Friday urged industries operating in Visakhapatnam to treat environmental stewardship as an integral part of industrial growth rather than a regulatory obligation.
Palla Srinivasa Rao made the remarks while participating in a high-level review meeting convened by the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board at the District Collectorate.
