Kadapa, Nov. 3 -- The Chandrababu Naidu led Telugu Desam Party has stormed the fortress of former Chief Minister and YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's Pulivendula constituency by winning the chairperson post and 34 wards in the Urban Local Body elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Pulivendula is considered to be a stronghold of Jagan Mohan Reddy as he and his family members have been winning elections in the constituency for the past few decades.
In the present ULB elections, the TDP candidate T Geeta Kumar was elected as chairperson of the Pulivendula municipality by defeating YSRCP candidate YS Prameela by a huge margin of 13,898 votes.
