Vijayawada, Oct. 20 -- Telugu Desam party MLC Bhumireddy Ram Gopal Reddy on Tuesday strongly condemned what he termed as "the ongoing political theatrics" of YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy over the conduct of the local body elections.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Ram Gopal Reddy emphasized that Minister Nara Lokesh has given clear and strict instructions to the party cadre and the police. "Even if the TDP loses a few seats, there will be absolutely no room for violence or forced unanimous elections. The police have been given a free hand to maintain law and order, ensuring that citizens can cast their votes without fear, bringing true grassroots democracy back to the state," the TDP leader said.
