Kakinada, July 14 -- A Tahsildar in Andhra Pradesh has drawn widespread appreciation for displaying a flex board outside his office urging visitors to shed their subservient attitude and uphold dignity, equality and self-respect while interacting with government officials. He is Peddapuram Tahsildar Srinivas.
The flex advises members of the public not to leave their footwear outside the office, not to stand before officials with folded hands, and not to fall at anyone's feet or plead in a demeaning manner.
Instead, it encourages them to enter wearing their footwear and present their grievances politely while maintaining self-respect and dignity.
