Vijayawada, March 1 -- Chief Justice of India Surya Kant laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Judicial academy at Picchukalapalem village near the state capital Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday.
The Judicial academy is being constructed at a cost of Rs 165 crore.
The event marks a key step in enhancing judicial training infrastructure in the state. It will accommodate batches of 120 trainee judges with academic, residential, and recreational facilities. Located 5.7 km from the AP High Court, it connects via a 50-meter-wide road.
