Visakhapatnam, Aug. 11 -- Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), has screened around 2,000 employees and contract workers as part of a medical examination campaign conducted at its shop floors over the past two months.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening preventive healthcare, identifying health risks at an early stage and facilitating timely medical intervention, RINL said in a release here on Tuesday.
The medical screening covered key health parameters including blood pressure, heart rate and blood sugar levels, the plant said in a release here on Tuesday.
