Vijayawada, May 11 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Water Resources Management Nimmala Ramanaidu has expressed confidence that the Polavaram project across the Godavari, will be completed in June 2027 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate it to the nation the same month.
A delegation led by the Minister called on union Jala Shakti Minister CR Patil in New Delhi on Monday and explained to him the progress of the Polavaram project works and urged the Centre's cooperation including release of funds.
Talking to mediapersons in New Delhi, he said that the Jala Shakti Minister assured to extend all cooperation to complete the project expeditiously.
