Visakhapatnam, June 23 -- Several long-pending public issues affecting thousands of families were placed before the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Petitions Committee by TDP State President and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao on Tuesday.
The Committee, chaired by Deputy Speaker and Petitions Committee Chairman Kanumuru Raghurama Krishnam Raju, reviewed a wide range of issues including land regularisation, rehabilitation of displaced families, 22-A land restrictions, compensation for acquired properties, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant evacuees, Gangavaram fishing communities, pending Gram Sabha commitments and industrial land-related disputes.
