Ongole, Aug. 18 -- The police arrested a notorious burglar and recovered Rs 1.36 crore worth booty including gold and silver on Tuesday.
SP V Harshavardhan Raju told the media that a police team arrested Sohail Khan belonging to Karnataka. He was living in Hyderabad. His modus operandi was to observe the locked houses during the day time and commit burglary during the night.
He committed burglaries at various places in Prakasam, Palnadu, Krishna and Anantapur districts in Andhra Pradesh as well as Hyderabad and Nalgonda in Telangana.
