Vijayawada, Oct. 22 -- In a strong show of unity ahead of the local body polls in Andhra Pradesh, NDA leaders including Telugu Desam party national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena chief and deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan and BJP state president PVN Madhav issued a joint statement on Thursday to counter the Opposition YSRCP propaganda.
They assured that local body elections would be conducted democratically, transparently and peacefully despite the YSRCP allegations of its candidates being obstructed from filing nomination and intimidation of voters by the alliance regime through misuse of government machinery.
