Vijayawada, June 19 -- Vijayalakshmi, the mother of local youth Gade Sai Krishna, who allegedly went missing from police custody on May 9 this year, met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office in Undavalli, near here, on Friday, a day after the opposition YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy visited her at home to express support and demanded a CBI inquiry.
The Chief Minister assured her that justice would be done. Vijayalakshmi explained to the Chief Minister that her son was picked up by the police on May 9 for questioning but was not produced before a court as per legal procedure.
In a statement after meeting the CM, she appealed to the opposition leaders not to politicize the issue.
