Rajahmundry, Aug. 6 -- In a shocking incident, two youths leaving a mall in their car hit a scooty at the gate of a multiplex theatre at AVAP road near Prakash Nagar in which a junior doctor was critically injured and later she was declared brain dead.
Though the incident took place on the night of August 3, it came to light on August 6 as the victim was declared brain dead in a private hospital.
Central Zone Deputy Superintendent of police A Subhash said that on August 3, the victim Dr. Priyanka (28) was going out of Prasad Aditya mall after watching a movie. At the same time, two youths were also going out of the mall in a car.
