Visakhapatnam, Aug. 28 -- Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner Ketan Garg on Friday directed officials to expedite the widening of the proposed 100-ft Master Plan Road from Gopalapatnam Junction Arch to Old Goshala, covering a stretch of 3.10 km, and complete the works within 120 days.
Garg inspected various stretches of the proposed road widening in the GVMC West and Pendurthi zones along with Chief City Planner A Prabhakar Rao.
The Commissioner inspected areas near Gopalapatnam Petrol Bunk, the vacant site at Rythu Bazaar, Vinayaka Temple and other locations and reviewed the existing road and plans for the proposed widening.
