Rajahmundry, Feb. 23 -- : Four persons have died and eight others have been hospitalised after allegedly consuming milk supplied by a vendor in Chowdeshwari Nagar and Swaroop Nagar localities of the city.
East Godavari District Collector Keerthi Chekuri told the media that residents consumed milk supplied by a vendor on Saturday and Sunday. After consuming the milk, they developed symptoms of acute renal failure and were admitted to hospitals. Four of them succumbed while eight others are undergoing treatment. The condition of two victims is reported to be critical.
