Vijayawada, Aug. 4 -- Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav, Chairman, YSRCP NTR District Doctors' Wing, today strongly condemned the "rampant exploitation of young doctors", and slammed private medical colleges for running "an illegal and inhuman duty regime" in gross violation of National Task Force regulations.
This comes after the National Medical Commission (NMC) itself admitted in a landmark affidavit before the Supreme Court that continuous, back-to-back 24-hour duties are the primary cause of severe mental breakdown, psychological trauma and physical burnout among PG medicos.
