Kakinada, Sept. 10 -- A three-member team of experts from the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, on Thursday inspected 15 important road junctions and traffic islands in Kakinada city as part of efforts to modernise and beautify the city.
The team, comprising Prof Adinarayana, Dr Valyavan and Dr Naina Guptha, visited the junctions along with Kakinada Municipal Corporation Commissioner NVV Satyanarayana, Superintending Engineer P Venkata Rao and Assistant Engineer Macharaju.
The experts assessed traffic flow, vehicular movement, available space and pedestrian requirements at the junctions.
