Visakhapatnam, July 14 -- Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has blamed the Chandrababu Naidu-headed government's negligence for the death of six fishermen and demanded compensation of Rs 1 crore each for the affected families.

Jagan Reddy on Tuesday consoled the families of the six fishermen, who were drowned in the sea after their boat capsized and their bodies could not be traced.

Speaking to the media here, after consoling the families of the deceased and interacting with the lone survivor of the tragedy, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that of the seven fishermen who went to the sea for fishing, the boat capsized just 10 miles away from Gangavaram Port.
