Vijayawada, Aug. 26 -- Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday came down heavily on the Naidu-headed government, stating that law and order deteriorated in the State while the government failed to mitigate the drought situation.
Addressing a press conference here, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that deficit rainfall was registered in 625 mandals out of 688 mandals and even coastal Andhra districts are also facing deficit rainfall, but the Naidu-led government has not taken steps to tackle the drought issue appropriately, adding that the state received 189.62 MM rainfall so far.
