Vijayawada, Aug. 9 -- The young lady doctor Dr. K Priyanka, who was critically injured in a hit and run by two drunkards in Rajahmundry on August 3, succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Hyderabad today.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over her death.
Dr. Priyanka was pursuing her post-graduation at a private medical college. On August 3, when she was riding pillion on a scooty and coming out of a multiplex theatre, two youths, who were driving a vehicle in inebriated condition, rammed the scooty from behind twice and finally the car ran over her in which she suffered grievous injuries on head.
