Vijayawada, Nov. 3 -- As the Cyclone Murasu made landfall at Ongole and crossed between Nellore and Narasapuram, heavy rains are forecasted in NTR, Polavaram, Krishna, Bapatla, Kakinada and Palnadu districts.
AP Disaster Management Authority Managing Director Prakhar Jain said here today that Cyclone Murasu crossed the coast near Ongole in Prakasam district between Nellore-Narasapuram. The DMA said that heavy rains are likely to occur in Polavaram, Kakinada, NTR, Krishna, Bapatla and Palnadu districts and moderate rain forecasted in Mandyam, EG, WG, and Eluru districts.
