Chittoor, March 23 -- A tragic road accident on Sunday left a couple from Karnataka killed and their two children injured.
Police said that Satish and Bhagyalakshmi, along with their two children, were going to hill shrine Tirumala on pilgrimage in the car. Their car collided with a lorry killing the couple instantaneously. Their son Sushant and daughter Pawani suffered injuries. They belonged to Mandya in Karnataka.
The police cleared the traffic on the highway after removing the ill-fated car and lorry. The car driver was drowsy at the steering which led to the accident, the police said.
