Visakhapatnam, Aug. 22 -- A high-level delegation from China's General Administration of Sport, led by Vice Minister Cui Jian, on Saturday visited the S3 Multipurpose Sports Facility in Visakhapatnam and discussed prospects for sports exchanges between China and Andhra Pradesh.
The delegation took keen interest in the facility's multipurpose badminton and basketball infrastructure. Cui specifically enquired whether the basketball system had been manufactured in India and was informed that it was.
The delegation also inspected the retractable seating system installed in the badminton hall, which is similar to those used at international and NBA-standard venues.
