Chittoor, April 28 -- In a gruesome incident, Telugu daily Andhra Jyothi's reporter Jaganmohan Reddy was hacked to death at V Kota village in the district on Tuesday.
Police said that motorcycle borne miscreants waylaid and hacked him indiscriminately on the road in full public glare and fled the scene. He died on the spot. The police registered a case and shifted the body to the GGH in Palamaner for postmortem.
Police identified the assailant as history sheeter Peter Thameem and another person. The accused Thameem lives in Karnataka.
