AP: Adulterated milk death toll rises to 7 as one more dies

Rajamahendravaram, March 3 -- The death toll in the adulterated milk case has risen to seven as one more person died in hospital on Tuesday.

Officials here said on Tuesday that G. Surya Rao (81) died while undergoing treatment at the KIMS hospital.

Health officials said that many persons who fell sick on February 22 were admitted to hospitals with symptoms of Anuria (absence of urine output), vomiting, abdominal pain and acute renal dysfunction which requires dialysisThe affected individuals belonged to Chowdeswaranagar and Swaroop Nagar areas of Lalacheruvu, Rajamahendravaram.
