Vijayawada, Sept. 19 -- As on date, 1,970 of the 3,652 shops in Andhra Pradesh have opted for licence renewal for 2026-27, with 1,220 shops making full or partial payments and Rs 403.25 crore collected towards renewal and related charges.
With three days remaining before the September 21 deadline, the renewal process has received a positive response across several districts, a release here today said.
Of the shops that opted for renewal, 686 have made full payments and another 534 have made partial payments. Overall, 61.9 per cent of the shops that opted for renewal have made payments.
