Tehran, April 15 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Wednesday declared that any attempts by the US or Israel to coerce Iran into "surrender" are "destined to fail," adding that the Iranian people will never accept such a path.
Speaking at a meeting with Tehran's emergency service officials on Wednesday, Pezeshkian emphasised that Iran has never sought war or instability and has consistently favoured dialogue and constructive engagement with other countries.
Without mentioning the United States, the Iranian President criticized what he called double standards in international conduct and condemned military actions against sovereign nations.
