Jammu, June 22 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday arrested two drug peddlers with a contraband of heroin in Bakshi Nagar area here in the heart of the city.
Police said that two drug peddlers were apprehended in two separate operations and booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
They said that the patrolling party intercepted a suspect acting under suspicious circumstances and during frisking a small quantity of heroin was recovered from his possession.
An accused was identified as Shubham Saini of Resham Garh, Jammu.
Meanwhile in a separate operation, police arrested one Vikas Manni with heroin.
