Hamirpur (HP), May 21 -- Hamirpur Police's PO Cell has achieved another success in tracing and arresting proclaimed offenders.
On 21.05.2026, the PO Cell Hamirpur apprehended the accused Shakil Akhtar, aged 48 years, a resident of VPO Bhojpur, Tehsil Sundernagar, District Mandi, H.P., from Sundernagar, District Mandi.
SP, Hamirpur, Balbir Singh Thakur said that the accused had been declared a proclaimed offender by the Court of ACJM Nadaun on 02.07.2025 in connection with a case under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act pertaining to Police Station Nadaun.
