Mumbai, March 19 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today questioned industrialist Anil Ambani in connection with an alleged Rs 2,929 crore cheating case linked to Reliance Communications Ltd (RCom), after a complaint by the State Bank of India (SBI), officials said.
Earlier today, a spokesperson for Anil Ambani stated that "Anil Ambani will be appearing before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Delhi on March 19 and March 20, 2026 for examination, in connection with the First Information Report registered on the basis of a complaint filed by the State Bank of India regarding Reliance Communications Ltd (RCOM).
